Al Pacino was named Alfredo James Pacino and he was born on April 25th, 1940 in New York City, Pacino's parents (Salvatore and Rose) divorcedwhen he was young. His mother moved them into his grandparents' house. Pacino found himself often repeating the plots and voices of characters that he had seen in the movies, one of his favorite activities.
